Using Intuition and Traditional foods

Using parent intuition you DO know what to do when it comes to feeding you and your family.  Think about food and its value.  Food should be alive and living and full of bacteria.

Common non traditional foods for households: there are to many to list individually but use your imagination:
Cereal
Bread
BPA lined canned vegetables
Packaged foods
Processed foods
Pasteurized dairy
Genetically modified foods (corn, soy, canola, papaya, squash, zucchini)
Pesticides and herbicides (with GMO's and the amount sprayed on vegetable and fruits with porous skins)
‘Convenient’ and fast foods - lots and lots of hidden sugar
Farmed seafood and confined animal products
Bottled and/or tap water
These are cheap, dead and nutrition-less foods.

What foods do you have access too? What area do you live? Who are your ancestors? These are very important for nutrition.

Think about transitioning to: Traditional foods from your culture/region

Foods can vary but here are some ideas:

Traditional sourdough bread/sprouted breads
Pastured eggs and meats(and organs)
Wild caught seafood
LOCAL and SEASONAL fruits and vegetables-per region *all should be organic and not sprayed with chemicals
Spring/unaltered well water
Raw dairy (if you can access and know the farmer)
Fermented foods (sauerkraut, kefir, kimchi)
Small amounts of traditional-local sugar (honey, maple syrup)

These foods are ALIVE, LIVING and FULL of beneficial Bacteria and Organisms!

You are what you eat, so eat REAL FOOD!
